What are they?
Dental bridges are an effective way of replacing missing teeth and thanks to advancements in modern dentistry, bridges can now be made to be a great match for your natural teeth. Bridges close the gap between natural teeth with a false tooth, resulting in a healthier and more aesthetic smile.
What you can expect from treatment?
We will invite you to a consultation appointment, where we can assess your suitability for a dental bridge by carrying out an examination of your teeth and gums. We will then take impressions or digital scans of your teeth so your bridge can be created to match your smile proportions and bite. These impressions or scans are sent off to a dental lab, where your bespoke bridge is fabricated and then sent back to us. We will then invite you back for a fitting appointment and make any necessary adjustments to your bridge to ensure a seamless transition into your bite and smile.
The benefits of getting a dental bridge:
- Your dental bridge is made with your smile’s shade and proportions in mind. It will be custom-crafted, with your facial proportions and bite in mind.
- If properly cared for, a dental bridge can last between 10-15 years. This means brushing twice a day and flossing regularly.
- A dental bridge improves your ability to break down food and can tackle speech impediments that have occurred as a result of having missing teeth.
